Thanks for posting this video, Danielle! I have never heard of Saycon or this song. I guess that goes to show how old and "uncool" I am. = ) It raises the important question of why is it that 200 years after her death Sara Baartman remains such a fascinating historical figure? Is it because the stereotypes which were applied to her are still being applied to women of color today? Just something for everyone to think about...
